Three Finalists Chosen for Trailer Dealer of the Year

Three trailer dealers have been named finalists for this year’s National Trailer Dealer of the Year Award.Still in the running for the award are: Scott Lamb, president of Atlantic Great Dane, South Portland, Maine; Tom Leuner, president of Empire Southern Tier Equipment Corp, Hillsborough, New Jersey; and Jeff Smith, president of Utility Tri-State, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A panel of judges selected the three finalists from a field of 48 nominees August 24 during a meeting at the Truck Trailer Manufacturers Association offices.
The annual award, sponsored by CitiCapital and the National Trailer Dealers Association, was introduced last year in order to recognize the contributions trailer dealers make to their employees, customers, community, and industry. The finalists were selected on a wide range of factors, including facilities, financial performance, innovative business practices, industry contributions, and community involvement.
One of the three finalists will be named National Trailer Dealer of the Year during the 12th annual National Trailer Dealers Association convention September 28 at the Camelback Inn Marriott Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.
