The National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) was recently announced as the winner of two coveted Michigan Society of Association Executives (MSAE) Diamond Awards — for the Print Newsletter and Meetings & Expositions categories.

The NTEA’s newsletter, Truck Equipment News, was named best association newsletter based on achievement of objectives; brevity and timeliness of content; effectiveness of writing, format and graphic design (including use of photography and/or illustration); and variety.

The Meetings & Expositions category honors excellence in marketing an association meeting, convention and/or exposition. The NTEA Annual Convention and The Work Truck Show® was judged on achievement of objectives, effectiveness of marketing strategies, attendance and revenue goals, and overall success of the event.

"It is indeed a great honor to be recognized by our association industry peers. Winning two MSAE Diamond Awards is a very significant accomplishment," said NTEA Executive Director Jim Carney. "We’ve distinguished our organization as being one of the top performing associations. This translates to value for our members."

The 2003 MSAE Diamond Awards were presented Sept. 9, 2003, at the Ritz-Carlton in Dearborn, MI.
