The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said it issued a series of recalls in August for components in some medium- and heavy-duty trucks manufactured by Kenworth, Nissan Diesel America and Volvo.

Truck models recalled were:

Nissan Diesel UD1200, UD1400 and UD1800CS, years 2002-04, which may have the incorrect seat belt anchor installed;

Volvo WX64, WX42, WXLL64 and WXLL42 models, heavy-duty Class 8 vehicles manufactured between Dec. 17, 1997, and June 27, 2003, where mis-wiring may cause the transmission to engage when it should not;

Kenworth T300 trucks equipped with Caterpillar C7 or 3126E 2002 engines and Horton fan hubs where bolts may fail.
