Industry experts to present forecasts at NTEA Economic Outlook Conference

Leading U.S. economists will provide their forecasts for the commercial truck and transportation equipment industry as well as insights on how the recent recession has affected the industry at the NTEA's Sept. 18 Economic Outlook Conference. Industry experts lined up for the event to-date include:

· Eli Lustgarten, managing director of H.C. Wainwright and Co., Inc. (New York, NY)

· Martin Labbe, president and CEO of Martin Labbe Associates (Ormond Beach, FL)

· Mustafa Mohatarem, chief economist, General Motors (Warren, MI)

· Brian Bethune, economics and analysis manager, Caterpillar, Inc. (Peoria, IL)

· Joe O'Neill, executive director, the National Conference of State Fleet Administrators (Litchfield Park, AZ)

· Bob Costello, chief economist and vice president, American Trucking Associations (Alexandria, VA)

· Stephen Latin-Kasper, director of market data and research, National Truck Equipment Association (Farmington Hills, MI).
