Heil, Peterbilt to produce integrated dump trucks

Mar 20, 2002 12:00 PM

Peterbilt announced at the Mid-America Trucking Show March 20 that it is partnering with Heil Environmental Industries to produce complete dump trucks.

Under the Peterbilt/Heil Integrated Body Program, customers can visit their local Peterbilt dealer to order a truck with a Heil dump body. The complete vehicle will be available with expedited delivery times, Peterbilt said. The ordering process will be further simplified by providing customers with a single invoice.

“There is typically a short period of time between when a contract is awarded and work on a project begins, and contractors often need to upgrade and expand their fleets quickly to respond to these opportunities,” said Nick Panza, Peterbilt general manager. “The new program provides Perterbilt customers with a single, central source for acquiring a complete, ready-to-work piece of equipment in a short period of time and at competitive pricing.”
