FedEx Freight opens Newburgh terminal

FedEx Freight has opened a new service center in Newburgh, NY, expanding the company's LTL capacity in the northeast.The facility is about 40 miles north of New York City and is equipped with 120 doors, a three-bay maintenance shop and 8,000-sq.-ft. of office space. It is on a 43-acre site.
President & CEO Douglas G. Duncan said the Northeast has traditionally been a major market for numerous industrial segments, including retail, manufacturing and pharmaceutical.
