Emergency One and Federal Signal have donated a Light-Duty Rescue Vehicle to the New York City Police Department (NYPD). The Rescue Vehicle, with an estimated market value in excess of $100,000, is designed to transport a multitude of rescue equipment used in emergency situations.

Mike Amsden, City Councilman, presented the representatives from NYPD with a proclamation honoring their service during the events of September 11th and presented a check for $1,000 to the NYC Police Foundation Heroes Fund.

Said Harold Pinto, president of Emergency One: "We are proud to be associated with the brave individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11th in service to their country while doing their best to save the lives of others.”
