Eaton Corp. has opened a logistics center in Indianapolis for its Truck Components business unit. The Eaton Logistics Center will provide a central location for the collection, warehousing and shipment of Eaton Fuller heavy-duty transmissions and aftermarket parts.

The logistics center will also provide a central receiving point for parts and components from Eaton’s suppliers, where they will be redistributed to Eaton’s three heavy-duty transmission manufacturing plants in North America.

The logistics center will be in full operation by March, with 140,000-sq.-ft. capacity. The new facility utilizes state of the art warehouse management, inventory and logistics systems.
