Dorsey Trailer selects ArvinMeritor components as standard equipment

ArvinMeritor Inc has announced that several of its products have been selected as standard equipment on Dorsey Trailers, including the RideStar air-ride suspensions; TN, TP, and TQ axles; and automatic slack adjusters.Effective immediately, ArvinMeritor will begin supplying all Dorsey models with these key components, as part of a three-year commitment through 2005.
"We feel that Dorsey is a strong strategic partner, we and look forward to serving its needs," said Bob Zirlin, director of worldwide marketing for the company’s suspension systems and trailer products.
Dorsey Trailer Company designs, manufactures and markets a broad
line of customized semi-trailers including dry freight, furniture and
refrigerated vans, plus specialized flatbed and dump trailers.
