Dana to Unveil New Axle

Dana Corporation's Off-Highway Systems Group, Kirkstall (Spicer) Specialty Axle Division, will unveil advanced off-highway components and modules at the 2001 Bus World Trade Show for global bus, truck and specialty (heavy on and off highway) vehicles.

On display throughout the Bus World Trade Show in Kortrijk, Belgium, from October 19-24 in Hall 3, will be the following Dana Off-Highway products:

*D66 Portal Axle, which is specially designed for the bus market;

*IFS66 is Dana's newly designed Independent front suspension model, designed to reduce vehicle body toll and improve the quality of the ride;

*NDS Axle series is designed specifically for low-floor bus applications.

Dana's Specialty Axle Division in Leeds UK has also teamed up with Alstom Transport of France, to develop an electro-mechanical driveline system principally for buses, but that is also adaptable for trucks.
