Dana selected as preferred supplier by Workhorse Custom Chassis

Dana Corporation's Commercial Vehicle Systems Division announced that it has been selected as the standard and preferred axle and brake supplier for Workhorse Custom Chassis LLC, a subsidiary of Grand Vehicle Works Holdings Corporation. Dana will supply steer axles, drive axles, tag axles, and brakes for Workhorse Custom Chassis under a contract continuing through March 2007. "Dana is very pleased to have been chosen as preferred supplier for a wide range of products for Workhorse Custom Chassis," said Nick Cole, president of Dana's Heavy Vehicle Technologies and Systems Group. "Our people look forward to this business opportunity and are dedicated to continuing to provide quality products to this leading manufacturer of commercial and recreational chassis." Dana will supply D-700, D-800, E-1002W, E-1202W, and E-1462W model steer axles; independent front suspensions; model 70, M70HD, M80, S110, S130, S150- S, 19060S, and 21060S drive axles; tag axles; and air disc brakes to Workhorse Custom Chassis' facility in Union City, Ind. Components will be manufactured at Dana's Henderson, Ky.; Humboldt, Tenn.; and Buena Vista, Va., facilities.
