Mack Trucks Inc has named Curtis Dorwart vocational marketing product manager. He reports to Michael Reardon, Mack vice-president of marketing. Dorwart previously was a product planning manager for the firm's low-cab forward models, including the TerraPro Cabover and Low Entry.

Matt Niemeier has joined MAC Trailer as tank sales manager. He has more than 20 years of tank-specific industry experience ranging from service and repair to sales of pneumatic, petroleum, asphalt, and liquid tanks. For the past 10 years, he has served with Paragon Trailer.

Hercules Manufacturing Company, a manufacturer of custom-built truck bodies headquartered in Henderson KY, announced that its president, Joe Banna, has retired as of the end of 2009. Banna will be honored for his 40 years of service by being named president emeritus of the company.

Tim Confer has been named regional manager for Omaha Standard, taking on rdistributor development and territory management activities within the southeastern region. He has served within the truck equipment industry since 1987.
