A truck equipment distributor has been named one of the top privately owned companies in the Kansas City area.
CSTK Inc, a distributor of transportation, construction and communications equipment and related services, and its affiliate Velociti Inc, a global provider of technology deployment services, have been ranked #46 on the Kansas City Business Journal’s list of 150 Top Private Companies in the Kansas City area.
The list compiles the top 150 Kansas City-area private companies, based on 2014 revenue, which increased by over $20 million from 2013 revenue.
In 2014, CSTK expanded its operations, with new facilities in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and St. Louis, Missouri, adding more than 75,000 square feet and 22 service bays. The opening of these locations dramatically increased CSTK’s physical footprint, allowing the expansion of its diverse lineup of products, including, its primary line of Thermo King transport refrigeration equipment.
CSTK distributes and services JCB construction equipment, IMT and Monroe truck bodies, and 4-Star trailers, among additional industrial lines. It also distributes full lines of trailer aftermarket parts and provides complete trailer repair.
“CSTK is continuing the process of expanding its operations,” said Allen Lane, COO of CSTK. “In addition to St. Louis and Bethlehem, new facilities are planned for the Kansas City, Kansas, Wichita, Kansas and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We are also completing the remodel of our Oklahoma City location.”

Suppliers include Thermo King Corporation, Great Dane Trailers, Aurora Trailers, Red Dot, Espar, Blue Tree Systems, Strehl TrailerBlade, Meyer, Blizzard, Hiniker and Snow Dogg. CSTK also offers extensive repair and maintenance services.
From corporate offices in Overland Park, Kansas, CSTK operates 12 locations throughout the Midwest and the East Coast. Its sister company, Velociti, offers global installation and deployment of technology.
