Supreme consolidating in Texas

Supreme Industries, manufacturer of specialized commercial vehicles, including truck bodies, shuttle buses, armored vehicles and luxury motorcoaches, is consolidating its San Antonio mounting station operations into Supreme’s Southwest production facility in Cleburne, Texas. Integration is anticipated to be completed on or before July 31, 2008.
The impact on customers in the San Antonio area will be minimal, the company says. The company’s mounting station in Houston will continue to operate as normal.
“This action is integral to the company’s continuing strategy to maximize efficiency through streamlined operations and reduced costs,” says Robert W. Wilson, president and chief operating officer. “It will enable Supreme to navigate more effectively through this slow economic environment and highly competitive marketplace.”
