Peterbilt delivers first Paccar MX engine

Peterbilt Motors Company recently celebrated the delivery of the first 2010 EPA-certified Paccar MX engine. A Peterbilt Model 386 equipped with the first production MX engine was delivered to McClymonds Supply & Transit Company at the Peterbilt Denton TX facility. Peterbilt employees, local government officials, and the media joined the festivities.

The MX is available in Peterbilt Models 587, 388, 386, 384, 367, and 365. This engine has a range of 380-485 horsepower and torque outputs up to 1,750 lb-ft with a displacement of 12.9 liters.

Peterbilt and all Paccar dealerships have certified MX-trained technicians and a complete inventory of service parts in stock. More than 670 authorized service locations across North America are certified in technologies and diagnostic tools to service and support Paccar engines. Paccar operates eight parts distribution centers in North America and provides engine technical support 24/7, 365 days a year through its dedicated Customer Call Center.
