MAC Trailer announced that its president of sales, Steve Hallas, is now responsible for sales of all MAC products, including liquid tanks, pneumatic tanks, aluminum flatbeds, waste trailers, and aluminum and steel dump trailers. He has 30 years of trailer industry experience.

Chuck Harper has joined truck body manufacturer Hercules Manufacturing Company as purchasing gent. Harper most recently worked as manufacturing manager in the weld/stamping department at Toyota Boshoku Indiana and as onsite operations manager for ReLogistics.

Mack Trucks announced that effective October 1, 2016, Rickard Lundberg has been appointed vice-president and general manager for Mack’s Lehigh Valley Operations, located in Lower Macungie Township, Pennsylvania. Lundberg has served since 2013 as vice-president for powertrain production at the Volvo Group’s powertrain plant in Köping, Sweden.

Omaha Standard Palfinger (OSP) appointed John Strempfer regional sales manager–Northeastern Territory, responsible for Ohio, Pennsylvania, District of Columbia, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Michigan, and Maine. He has more than 30 years of industry experience.

has promoted Dan Funkhouser to senior director of commercial sales. A Yokohama employee for more than 20 years, he was named director of commercial dealer business in 2014.

Pressure Systems International (PSI) has added Tom Smego to its team as sales director for the Midwest and Canada, based in Chicago IL. He previously served more than 39 years at SKF USA Inc in OEM and OES sales management, as well as roles managing national fleet sales, field service, and product management.

OBITUARIES

Manac Inc general sales manager Keith Limback died August 13, 2016, in Adams Township, Pennsylvania. He was 58. He started his career with Fruehauf almost 38 years ago and quickly rose through the ranks, holding a variety of key positions during his time there. In 1997, he joined the Manac team and took on the challenge of launching the Manac brand in the United States. Limback was a member of the National Trailer Dealers Association.
