David Larotonda

Manac Inc announced the appointment of David Larotonda and Andy Grylls to the positions of general sales manager for the Eastern and Western United States, respectively. During the past 20 years, Larotonda has been instrumental in developing Manac’s dealership network in the United States and is based in its Pittsburgh PA regional sales office. Grylls, a seasoned professional in the trailer industry, has also played a pivotal role in expansion in the West since starting with the firm in 2011.

Hansen International Inc announced the promotion of Lisa Hansen Beebe to company president. She replaces longtime company president John Seehof, who retired yet remains a consultant to the company. Beebe began her career with Hansen International in Waukegan IL and moved when the company relocated its manufacturing facilities to Lexington SC. For 22 years, she has held a variety of roles with the company, most recently as vice-president.

Vanair has announced that Tim Worman has joined the company as product manager. He comes to Vanair with almost 30 years of market experience with roles in engineering, product management, marketing and business development.

Ken Kelley

ConMet welcomes Ken Kelley as vice-president of North American sales, and he will be based at company headquarters in Vancouver WA. With 30 years of experience in the commercial vehicle industry, he most recently was president of Fontaine Connection Group. ConMet also promoted Brian Rieger to vice-president of aftermarket sales and Kelly Talarico to director of sales operations.

TODCO, Transportation Division of Overhead Door Corporation, hired Ryan Fares as district sales manager,  covering the South and Mid-Central Region and reporting to Anthony Gemma, national fleet sales manager. His territory will cover Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico and western Tennessee. Fares previously managed a branch for Ryder Transportation in Houston TX.

Fontaine Modification Fleet Services has hired Angel Salas as facility manager for its Laredo TX truck modification center. Salas spent the past 12 years with Caterpillar Inc, serving as senior quality/test engineer, quality/test engineering supervisor, operations/materials supervisor, and project and maintenance analyst.

Karmak Inc announced that Jim Hurt has joined the firm as a regional sales manager in the Northeast Region. He previously worked as director of sales for major accounts and vice-president of sales for a dealer management system provider for 20 years in both the heavy-duty and automotive marketspace.

Remington Industries has added Ed Knight and Jon Peddie to its executive team, effective immediately. Knight will serve as executive vice-president, and Peddie will fill the role of vice-president of sales. Knight comes to Remington with more than 30 years of experience in finance and accounting. Peddie has more than 20 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket and joins the company with expertise in both sales and marketing. Tim Parkes has taken on the duties of president as well as CEO, and Lisa Moses has moved to the position of executive vice-president of marketing and product management. Tom Norwell, president of Remington since 2012, will transition through early 2017 to the role of president of international sales and business development. Ray Gonsalves, formerly vice-president of operations, has been promoted to senior vice-president of operations with responsibility for both Remington and its domestic manufacturing sister company RemSourceUSA.

VIPAR Heavy Duty has announced the appointment of Deval Joshi as the organization’s new senior program manager. He brings 14 years of experience in strategic global purchasing, engineering and management to his new role. He has more than eight years of experience in several roles with Navistar, including sourcing and procurement for the company’s parts procurement group and production purchasing group. Joshi also was director of global procurement at Milton Industries.
