Jan 23, 2009 10:57 AM

Mike Wood, Vice President of the Midwest region for Old Dominion Freight Line Inc., announced a relocation of its Ann Arbor, Mich. Service Center. The facility, formerly located at 5070 Carpenter Road in Ypsilanti, has moved to its new location, a 30-door facility located on a five-acre site at 5345 W. Michigan, Ypsilanti.

According to Wood, the Ann Arbor Service Center will continue operations under the leadership of Service Center Manager Robert Sharp, who will direct a staff of 16.

“The relocation of the Ann Arbor Service Center will double our terminal capacity, enabling Old Dominion to move freight more productively,” said Wood. “It will also provide capacity for future growth.”
