Heil Environmental VP dies

David Baratti, vice president of sales and marketing for Heil Environmental, died this weekend at home in Chattanooga.
Baratti joined Heil in January 2002 as general sales manager, eastern region. He was promoted to director of marketing in June 2002. In May 2005, he was promoted to vice president, North American sales. And was named vice president, sales and marketing in February 2006. In this position, he had global responsibility for all of Heil’s sales and marketing activities, product development and customer support.
Prior to coming to Heil, Baratti worked for Grote Industries, a vehicle safety systems manufacturer. He joined Grote in 1990 as a field rep and ultimately became director of OEM sales in 1997, a position he held until joining Heil.
He is survived by his wife, Angie, and daughter, Caitlyn.
