Heil Environmental Names Valley Truck and Trailer as Arizona Dealer

Heil Environmental has named Valley Truck and Trailer Service of Glendale, Ariz., as its dealer for the state of Arizona effective July 1. As the Heil dealer, Valley Truck will provide national, municipal and private customers throughout the state with Heil refuse and recycling collection vehicles, Heil Certified OEM replacement parts, Parts Inc. aftermarket parts, and complete vehicle service.
Located within the Phoenix metropolitan area, Valley Truck has provided complete service and support for medium and heavy-duty trucks in the region since 1984. Its 12,000-square-foot facility, situated on two acres, includes 12 service bays. The company also has a mobile service truck and parts delivery trucks, for maximum customer convenience.
“Valley Truck has built an excellent reputation for providing reliable, customer-driven bumper-to-bumper truck maintenance and repair,” says Bob McHugh, Heil director of North American sales. “The company and its experienced employees have a long history of service to refuse haulers in the state, and we are very pleased to welcome them to the Heil team.”
Heil is the first refuse collection body line that Valley Truck will sell.
“This is a natural way to grow our business,” explains Peter Hokanson, president of Valley Truck.
Hokanson bought the company in 2007. He has explored various growth opportunities for Valley Truck, and after meeting with the Heil team, he decided that being associated with Heil was the best choice for his company and, ultimately, many of his customers.
“Heil is a company that’s going to continue to grow in the future, and I want to be a part of that,” he says.
