Hansen International Acquires Salem Vent International

Hansen International, Inc. has acquired Salem Vent International, Inc. and the addition of the Salem Vent line to the array of Hansen International products for the heavy truck, step van, horse trailer, fire and emergency, utility/service body, government, bus, and specialty markets.  The merger of the company will move operations, production and sales of Salem Vent to Hansen’s Lexington, SC, facilities.    “Because of the close relationship between Hansen and Salem Vent over the past 31 years and given our sales experience into all the same markets, it seemed natural to join the two companies,” said John Seehof, President of Hansen International. “Hansen and Salem Vent are led by American veterans, Salem’sproducts are proudly produced in America, and we wanted to capitalize on that message as well. With the relocation of Salem Vent’s operating facilities to Lexington, SC, we see opportunities for better inventory management, efficiency in delivery times, and lower operating costs in general that will allow us to be more competitive.” Hansen International is a manufacturer of hardware and trim systems for commercial and industrial vehicles.
