Inc. Magazine Honors Central States Trucking

Inc. Magazine has announced Central States Trucking, Bensenville, Illinois, as one of the top 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the country.
This is the second consecutive year Central States Trucking has been named to the exclusive list. The Inc. 5,000 highlights the fastest-growing, privately held businesses in America. Taken as a whole, these companies represent the backbone of the U.S. economy.
“This award recognizes the continued tremendous growth our company is experiencing as we provide customers world-class service with a personal touch,” said Doug Grane, President, Central States Trucking. “We are honored to receive this ranking once again by one of the nation’s premier entrepreneurial publications.”
The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2004 through 2007. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2004, and therefore able to show four full calendar years of sales. Additionally, they have to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent -- not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies -- as of December 31, 2007. Revenue in 2004 must have been at least $200,000, and revenue in 2007 must have been at least $2 million.

In addition, the list is searchable according to numerous criteria, including industry, city, state, region, and year founded.
