Wilson shifts to TNT brand name

Jul 5, 2005 6:47 PM

Wilson Logistics Group is changing its name to TNT Freight Management to reflect its acquisition by Jacksonville, FL, parent company TNT Logistics in August 2004.

“Customers are increasingly demanding complete end-to-end logistics solutions with total supply chain visibility,” said Andy Schaefer, CEO for TNT Freight Management-Americas. “We will support TNT’s capacity to offer customers one partner to solve their supply chain challenges worldwide.”

Schaefer said the integration of Wilson into the TNT Logistics division is well on its way, but that the change mainly refers to the brand, corporate identity and company name. It provides air and sea freight and logistics services within an international network employing approximately 2,200 people in 28 countries.
