Volvo posts strong numbers

Volvo Truck Group reported strong NAFTA truck deliveries, posting a 58% increase between January and August over the same period last year. Volvo Trucks, Mack, and Renault, which comprise the Volvo Group, totaled 15,225 deliveries in North America.
The worldwide truck delivery data reflects strength in the North American market when compared with other regions, particularly Volvo Group’s largest market, Europe. Its European market posted 26,476 deliveries— a 13% increase over the same period last year.
South American and Asian deliveries increased 58% and 40%, respectively.
