Vanguard National’s Tarpley dies

Funeral services will be held today in Savannah, Georgia, for long-time industry executive R.W. (Dick) Tarpley.
Tarpley, 56, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. Tarpley most recently was director of trailer sales for Vanguard National Trailer Corporation. He worked as a salesman for many years in the trailer industry, holding positions with Great Dane and Hyundai Translead.
Tarpley was a native of Muncie, Indiana, and a resident of West Lafayette.
