Utilimaster Corporation announces aluminum surcharge

Effective today, Utilimaster Corporation will institute an Aluminum Metal Surcharge on all products that utilize this material.
“The surcharge is necessary because of the dramatic increase in the cost and volatile nature of this commodity,” said Kevin Page, vice president of sales and marketing. “We believe that this type of flexible increase is the most impartial because it is product specific and will accurately reflect the fluctuations in the market place.
“It is with reluctance that we are adjusting prices, but to continue producing the best vehicles on the market, Utilimaster’s pricing must fairly reflect sharp increases in costs. We will continue to invest in our quality and manufacturing processes to deliver superior value to our customers.”
