Supreme names new president

Supreme Industries, Inc. has announced the appointment of a new president by the board of directors at its subsidiary, Supreme Corporation. Robert (Bob) Wilson, formerly the executive vice president and chief financial officer, now serves as president and chief operating officer for the company.
Herb Gardner, chairman of Supreme Industries, said of Wilson, "Bob joined Supreme in 1988 as controller, and subsequently rose to executive vice president and chief financial officer, and served as a key member of the Office of the President. He brings a great deal of experience and professionalism to his new position as president of our company. Over the years, Bob has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, and as president and chief operating officer, he will now have a new opportunity to devote those talents to Supreme's overall operations, long-term strategic planning and growth."
Said Wilson, "I'm very excited about this opportunity to lead this outstanding company. I look forward to continuing Supreme's record of excellence, and to making ongoing improvements as necessary, throughout all of our locations nationwide.”
In addition to the appointment of a new president, the board of directors named other key managers to round out the leadership team at Supreme. Omer Kropf, formerly president, was elected to the position of vice chairman and managing director of special projects, while Jeff Mowery, formerly controller, was named vice president and chief financial officer.
Kropf founded Supreme, and will now focus his manufacturing and technical skills on improving manufacturing technology and methods, and developing new materials and new product concepts. Mowery, who has already enjoyed an 18-year career with Supreme, will channel his extensive experience into maintaining the company's high standards of integrity in its accounting practices and financial reporting.
