Schneider appoints CFO

Schneider National Inc. has announced that David Vander Ploeg, senior vp— finance, will take on the company’s CFO position effective January 3. Vander Ploeg will replace Thomas A. Gannon, who has been elected to the company’s board of directors and will serve as vice-chairman and secretary of the corporation.
As senior VP— finance, Vander Ploeg has overseen all financial operations, including accounting and analysis, corporate purchasing, management reporting, strategic planning and acquisitions-related initiatives.
