Westmor Industries of Morris, Minnesota, has released the new Proline LT Transport—a new lighter weight trailer model for LP/NH3 storage and transportation.

The manufacturer says the Proline LT Transport will help owners increase their annual payload by as much as 2.7%.

To achieve the additional payload, Westmor engineers incorporated super single wheels and rims and integrated more aluminum into the trailer’s landing gear and light boxes. These and other design changes result in a tank trailer that weighs up to five percent less than traditional trailers.

“Using an 11,500-gallon tank as an example, the difference in weight between our standard transport and new Proline LT Transport model is more than 1,000 pounds,” said Mike Hennen, general manager, Westmor. “That allows our owners and operators to increase their capacity by more than 300 gallons per load and achieves almost 3% of additional payload annually.”

Westmor Industries manufactures Proline Transport Trailers in sizes ranging from 7,000 to 19,000 gallons. Each design is custom balanced with the tractor weight to allow maximum load potential. In addition, owners are allowed to thoroughly customize each unit to ensure the trailer meets applicable and driver requirements.
