Lusty EMS released its Drop Deck Chassis Tipper model on the first day of Perth Truck Show.

“The drop deck design increases the volume of the trailer by up to 6 cubic meters per load over a standard Chassis Tipper,” stated Craig Wallace, General Manager of Tippers at manufacturer, MaxiTRANS, “meaning operators can carry more bulk product per trip, saving both time and money.”

What’s more, by dropping the frame and hence lowering the height of the load, the trailer has a lower center of gravity, increasing safety and stability on the road.

“The innovation is in the chassis main-rails,” said Craig, “which are optimally design to maximize strength and durability, this combined with the aluminum construction, ensures the trailer maintains a low tare weight capable of carrying the extra load.”

The Drop Deck Chassis Tipper, on display in Perth, featured increased wall height and internal width, typically specified for operators transporting lower density bulk product, further adding to the increased capacity already provided by the Drop Deck design. The trailer is also set up for road train configuration, featuring an optional road train coupling.
