Willis APU builder moves to larger facility

Sep 1, 2006 12:00 PM

Anticipating sales growth into the triple digits, Auxiliary Power Dynamics, manufacturers of the Willis APU, completed its move to a new facility in Sparks NV that is five times bigger than Willis' previous location.

In the past six to eight months, sales of the Willis APU have increased by 400 percent.

The Willis APU eliminates main idling by providing auxiliary power as soon as the truck is parked, and it delivers more heating and cooling capacity up to 33,000 Btu.

The building is at 945 Spice Islands Drive, about two miles northeast of the Reno/Tahoe International Airport, and about one mile south of Exit 20 on US Interstate 80.
