TranSource acquires Tom Bailey Motors

TranSource Truck and Trailer Centers Inc, a Kernersville NC-headquartered truck dealership network, has acquired Tom Bailey Motors, a long-time Mack Trucks dealership in Rocky Mount NC.
Formerly Triad Mack Sales, TranSource adopted its new name in 2002 when it took on additional product lines — including the offerings of Volvo Trucks North America Inc — at its Raleigh NC location. Besides Kernersville, Raleigh, and now Rocky Mount, TranSource has locations in Salisbury and Hickory NC.
Jim Bland, TranSource dealer principal, has already added a night shift to the Rocky Mount facility, and is exploring its expansion to handle a higher volume of parts and service business. He has no plans to move this operation from its current location on the Route 301 bypass.
