Rhino Linings prosperity bucks the trend

Despite vehicle production in North America dropping by about one million vehicles, Rhino Linings USA Inc continues to grow. The sprayed-on truck bed liner producer recently surpassed the 500-dealer mark.
Currently, 59 million light trucks and SUVs are on the nation's highways, and while growth in the accessories portion of the aftermarket industry has been relatively slow (2% to 3%) the performance accessories (such as bed liners) portion has grown 8% (Frost & Sullivan Research). Rhino Linings' annual growth averages 20% to 25%.
Accessories that provide function own a major share of the $24.8-billion specialty automotive industry at 55.6%. Projections continue to show the bed liner industry growing.
