With Push of a Button, School Bus Doors Open

Collins Bus has developed a proprietary automatic door system for the Type-A school bus market. This vacuum- actuated system enables drivers to push a button to operate school bus doors.
The DuraDoor automatic door system has a maintenance-free design with no electric motors or gears, and comes with an emergency manual back-up system. Available on Ford and Chevrolet/GMC models, DuraDoor reduces driver fatigue. Retrofit kits are available.
