T3 2001 Offers 30-Plus Educational Sessions

T3 2001 - The Commercial Truck, Trailer and Technology Expo, held in conjunction with the 37th annual National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) Convention in Baltimore MD, offers more than 30 educational sessions, which are open to all registered participants. Every aspect of the work truck industry - from building better sales relationships to mounting a truck body and specifying equipment to using technology for a competitive advantage - is covered.

Featuring more than 350 exhibitors industry suppliers including 134 top truck chassis manufacturers, T3 2001 runs March 1-3, with the convention and educational sessions running Feb 28-March 3.

Concurrent educational sessions are coordinated by the NTEA's Truck Equipment College. All sessions take place outside of show hours, before the show floor opens.

Representatives from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PDOT) will conduct a March 1 session entitled: "Join the Online Bidding World - Invitation to Qualify."

Other sessions include: "Connecting Your Fleet to Your Business Objectives," "Building Sales Partnerships with Truck Dealers," "Selecting the Best Steel for Your Truck Equipment Application," "Driveline Installation and Service Guidelines," "Developing Specifications to Select Vehicle Types," "Internet Capabilities Impacting the Work Truck Industry," and "Keeping Current on Federal Excise Tax Issues." Ten chassis manufacturers exhibiting at T3 are conducting updates to give first-hand technical information about chassis specifications, new equipment design, and body installation.

Sam Geist will conduct a general concurrent session March 2 entitled "If I Hear `Customer Service' One More Time." After that session, Geist will lead a general session entitled, "Why Should Someone Do Business With You?" Warren Greshes will conduct a March 3 session entitled "The Power to Be the Best."
