NTEA Launches WorkTrucks.com Web Site

Nov 1, 2000 12:00 PM, TRAILER/BODY BUILDERS STAFF

The National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) has launched its new web site, WorkTrucks.com. Besides providing news and information about the truck equipment industry, WorkTrucks.com serves as a major online hub for industry participants to network, conduct business, and discuss issues around-the-clock on the Internet. WorkTrucks.com is a collaborative effort between the NTEA and Seattle-based eSociety, a developer of online communities. The site features:

- Online Marketplace - Make purchasing decisions based on a searchable industry directory or purchase NTEA publications and materials online.

- Career Development - Find a job, post a resume, or increase your staff's knowledge through training opportunities.

- Technical Services - Gain instant access to hundreds of NTEA articles and publications.

- My WorkTrucks - Update WorkTrucks.com accounts, access free personalized e-mail accounts, and take advantage of group discounts in Community Perks.

- Government Affairs - Get information on truck equipment related legislation and regulations or conduct research; connect directly with Capitol Hill about issues.

- Members Only - This community offers technical assistance and resources; research, market data, and forecasting; and the ability to submit press releases online.
