Grote Industries de Mexico Earns QS-9000 Certification

Grote Industries de Mexico recently earned a recommendation for QS-9000 quality certification. Grote has had operations in Mexico since 1989, when it established a national sales presence based in Acuna Coahuila. In 1993, the operation moved to a new plant in Monterrey. The company then opened a new manufacturing plant in Monterrey in 1999. At 85,000 square feet, the new facility is more than three times the size of Grote's original Mexican plant. Workers there produce and package 23 product lines including lamps and wiring harnesses.
