Goodyear G372 LHD Completes System

In 1999, Goodyear unveiled the G397 LHS steer tire. This year, Goodyear is offering the G372 LHD drive tire to complete its tractor system. This tandem is the first line-haul tractor system using Goodyear's Enhanced Casing Design. A polyamide belt in the casing acts as a barrier between the tire's tread and high-tensile steel belts, stopping moisture before it can reach the belts. That effectively eliminates the need for buzzouts and increases carcass life and retreadability.
