Expansion Will Consolidate Stellar Operations

Garner IA-based Stellar Industries Inc plans to expand its facility once again. A 21,000-square-foot air-conditioned building will be constructed and will connect with existing buildings at Stellar West. This new expansion will allow Stellar to consolidate all its manufacturing and fabrication operations.
"The expansion will allow us to increase our manufacturing square footage by approximately 30%," said Bruce Oimoen, chief operating officer for Stellar.
Construction, which began in October 2000, likely will be completed in January 2001. Stellar manufactures hydraulic hook lift loaders, tire service trucks, material handling cranes, portable welders, and air compressor systems.
