Dee Zee joins forces with Tra-lor-mate Inc

The light-truck accessory company Dee Zee Inc has formed a partnership with Tra-lor-mate Inc to market and manufacture a line of transportation safety products. With new products on line as early as spring 2002, the new brand name will be Tralormate by Dee Zee.
Missouri-based Tra-lor-mate's product line centers on its fall protection system with steps, both permanent and detachable, that provide safety access to semitrailer platforms and medium-duty flat beds. Under the new partnership, the existing product line will be manufactured and marketed by Dee Zee at its 200,000-square-foot facility in Des Moines IA. Dee Zee products, under the brand names Dee Zee, Diamond Brite, Alumasport, and Dee Zee Rider, include storage boxes and systems, grill guards, and running boards.
The marketing effort of the Tralormate by Dee Zee line will kick off March 21-23 at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville KY.
