Pioneer, a Wastequip company formerly known as Pioneer-Cover-all, has named Lenny Brescia president. He had been executive vice-president and vice-president of sales and marketing for Pioneer Cover-all. Also appointed were Brian Houston to vice-president of sales and marketing, Chris Nicolazzo to controller, Ed Haddad to vice-president of product development and sourcing, and Mark Borezo to vice-president of operations.
Eduardo Andrade has been promoted to business manager — Special Products for Carrier Transicold, a business unit of United Technologies Corp. He most recently was the firm's global product manager — Large Bus.
Roger Maisch has joined Harper Industries as vice-president — sales and marketing. The Paola KS native has served in various sales and marketing management roles within the agriculture and outdoor power industries and has experience directing development of new products and new markets.
Douglas Twyford has joined Elliott Equipment Co as vice-president of sales and marketing. He was previously director of global marketing for Ingersoll Rand Productivity Solutions.
Toyo Tire (USA) Corp has appointed Lowell Slimp as truck tire sales manager for the central United States. He returns to Toyo after spending six years at Continental Tire as a commercial products manager.
