ArvinMeritor updates technical library

ArvinMeritor has added more than 100 publications to its DriveTrain Plus Technical Electronic Library 5.0. This brings the total number of publications in the library to more than 950. Most of this information can also be found in the Tech Library section of the company's web site at www.arvinmeritor.com.
The library includes the most in-demand maintenance and service, product, specifications, and warranty information. New to the CD is information about ZF Meritor's Freedomline automated transmission, including the maintenance and service manual, operator manual and diagnostics and wiring diagram; revised editions of the truck and tractor axle, and trailer axles specifications brochures; and the four-piston quadraulic disc brake caliper maintenance manual.
Other updates include a search engine for the program's indexes, a bookmark feature, an extra link to the Technical Library on the web site, a link to XpresswayPlus.com for parts information, and the use of Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator as browsers. All documents are in PDF file formats, which are downloadable from most Windows-based computer systems. The CD is available by phoning 800-535-5560.
