ArvinMeritor agrees to supply Transrent

ArvinMeritor Inc's Commercial Vehicle Systems (CVS) business group will provide trailer axles to be used on trailers ordered by Transrent.
The contract is based on a long-term agreement centered on a product support package offered to Transrent by ROR, the European Trailer Systems manufacturing arm of ArvinMeritor. The package is based on the RORcare.com web-based system that offers direct access to trailer maintenance records.
Transrent operates a rental fleet of approximately 5,000 trailers and another 2,000 via its leasing division, UTF. Most of these are already fitted with the LMC axle from ROR, which includes the Cartridge Bearing Hub.
