Air Force gets first litter of Jack Rabbits

Emergency One Inc (E-One) has started delivering 15 Jack Rabbit quick-attack units to the United States Air Force. The vehicles will be used at Air National Guard Training ranges.

Built on a Ford F450 4×4 chassis, these Jack Rabbits feature:

  • Extruded aluminum body construction with compartment space for accessories or equipment

  • 320-US-gallon water tank

  • 90-US-gpm at 150 psi bronze water pump with a separate diesel engine

  • Booster hose reel with 200 feet of 3/4-inch hose

  • 8,000-lb-capacity front winch with brush guard

As the only bidder that met technical specifications completely, E-One was selected by the Air Force from among several manufacturers.
