Socketbreaker, nosebox line is updated

Sep 1, 2010 12:00 PM

Phillips Industries has recently updated its listing of socketbreakers and noseboxes. Products offered include:

  • i-BOX and QBOX trailer wire management systems designed to handle electronic requirements of trailers.

    • The i-BOX has two-thirds more working room inside the box to alleviate wire pinching and pull-out, which has become a problem with standard noseboxes on trailers with supplemental systems such as trailer tracking and weigh systems. The I-BOX can also house Phillip's Permalogic Controller and has enough room for flash memory storage to keep trailer schematics, bills of material, and other documents.

    • The QBOX has 50% more interior room than standard noseboxes. Both the QBOX and i-BOX are outfitted with Phillips' QCS2 quick-connect socket, so replacing a worn socket takes less than two minutes.

  • STA-DRY socketbreakers sealed to prevent moisture and contaminants from entering the trailer harness system.
