Tim D Myers has been named president of Alcoa Wheel and Transportation Products, with responsibility for forged wheels and aluminum structures. He succeeds Kevin B Kramer, who has been appointed president, growth initiatives. Myers had been vice-president and general manager, commercial vehicle wheels, accountable for Alcoa truck wheel plants worldwide and subassembly and logistics sites in North America.
The Alamo Group Inc announced the appointment of Douglas Metcalf as president of its Leavenworth KS-based company, Henke Manufacturing. He originally joined Henke as plant manager and has more than 25 years of experience in engineering, metal fabrication, and production.
Karmak Inc has added Ron Melendy as the new regional manager for the Rocky Mountain region. In his new position, he is responsible for sales and support services in Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming, as well as the Canadian provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Melendy most recently served as territory manager for Mack Truck Sales, as well as general manager of a truck dealership and northeast sales manager for Holland Hitch Corporation. He has established a new regional office in the Denver CO area.
