Vicon expands fabrication capabilities

Vicon Fabricating Co, a custom fabricator based in Mentor OH, has installed a 6,000-watt Koike laser cutting machine. The laser is capable of cutting up to 1“ steel plate and other materials. Table size is 138“ x 600“ for large or multiple plate sizes.
Along with the company's 4,000-ton x 50-foot CNC press brake, long laser cut parts can now be formed in extreme lengths. The new equipment will be available for use beginning in January 2008.
