Koike Aronson Acquires Brazilian Manufacturer Of Welding Positioners

Koike Aronson, Inc./Ransome, a subsidiary of  Koike Sanso Kogyo of Tokyo, Japan, has purchased the majority of shares of  Biondi Maquinas, Dispositivos E Ferramentas LTDA of Jaboticabal, Brazil.

Fabrication logo The purchase was made through Koike’s  subsidiary, Koike Aronson Brasil Business Consulting LTDA.

Biondi Maquinas is a manufacturer of welding  positioners and similar equipment. The new company is named Koike Aronson --  Biondi Maquinas, Dispositivos E Ferramentas Do Brazil, LTDA. The current owners  of Biondi, Nelson Biondi and Evandro Faccio, will remain with the company, with  Biondi retaining a minority holding.

A new facility is planned to be built in  Jaboticabal to accommodate the growing demand for both Koike and Biondi  products in Brazil.

Jerry Leary, Koike’s President and CEO, said, “This  is a great opportunity for us to further develop our business in the  fast-growing Brazilian marketplace.”
