Hobart expands manufacturing operations

Hobart Brothers Company announces the expansion of its manufacturing operations into a new 65,000-square-foot facility in Troy OH. This facility will be used to increase production capacity for the company's welding consumables.
The firm anticipates another 40 people will be added to its workforce once the new plant is at capacity. Construction on the new building is scheduled to be completed by spring 2009.
Incorporated in 1917, and then acquired by Illinois Tool Works in 1996, Hobart Brothers is a manufacturer of welding consumables. Other Hobart Brothers manufacturing facilities are in Piqua OH and Woodstock, Ontario, Canada.
