Tregaskiss offers the next evolution of its Tough Gun Reamer: the new Tough Gun Reamer TT3 Series. With features that simplify maintenance and increase reliability in harsh welding environments, the TT3 Series helps extend the life of robotic MIG guns and consumables.
The TT3 Series features a new sprayer reservoir location on the opposite side of the unit (compared with previous models) to safeguard against overfilling and leakage onto internal electronics. Tregaskiss has also eliminated an electronic check valve, which allows for faster troubleshooting and results in fewer parts to maintain in the sprayer system. New plug-and-play internal replacement parts feature smart-keyed connections to ease assembly and provide quick in-cell troubleshooting.
The TT3 Series also includes simplified internal wiring by way of a centralized terminal strip, and the Tough Gun anti-spatter sprayer now comes standard with this new model. The addition of a sprayer with an anti-spatter compound, like Tough Gard anti-spatter liquid can help extend the life of front-end consumables, including the nozzle and contact tip, and reduce maintenance and operating costs.
To ensure its reliability, the TT3 Series has internally mounted pneumatic valves and protected external setup switches, as well as seals on all points of entry to the reamer. External setup switches on the TT3 Series increase safety by allowing independent operation of the sprayer and the clamp and spindle during manual setup. Plus the cutter blade lifts into position but does not spin when activated by the spindle setup switch.
The TT3 Series is available with several options, including a wire cutter, dedicated motor lubricator, nozzle detection, and Tough Gun reamer stand.
